Add 0.5 mL (50 units) bacteriostatic water to the 5 mg vial.

Optional: 1.0 mL BAC → 5 mg/mL (10 units = 0.5 mg). The 0.5 mL mix keeps the same 10 mg/mL math as the other vial sizes.
A 5 mg vial covers about 10 weeks at the 0.5 mg start, or about 2 weeks at a 2.5 mg hold. Plan supply accordingly.
Mix Steps
- Gather the 5 mg vial, bacteriostatic water, alcohol swabs, and a sterile U-100 syringe.
- Wipe both rubber stoppers with alcohol and let dry.
- Draw 0.5 mL bacteriostatic water.
- Introduce water slowly along the glass wall.
- Swirl or roll. Do not shake.
- Label mix date and concentration. Refrigerate at 2-8 C.
- Plan around 28-30 days after mixing. Discard if cloudy.

Storage and Handling
